Preseason Newsletter 3; 24 April 2026

Player Registration & Handbook Collection etc : So by now, you will have had your ex-players deleted, maybe added some, but that's not essential as you can add as you go. It helps with card submission if you register before you play.

You should then have an estimate of how many players you are going to pay for by BACs and used the 'Player Fees' calculator from the home page, to find out the total to be paid:

http://www.boltontennisleague.co.uk/PlayerFees.html

The treasurer should be able to see this in the account. The Registration Secretary will need to see how many players you are registering and see this ties in with the total amount paid. The above form will be used at season end to compute extra registrations during the season.

Handbook collection etc Friday 2pm - 8pm 132 Beverley Road, Bolton BL1 4DY

Deletions cease after today apart from duplicates.

Card Entry and Secret Links: We have not changed any of the card entry links from last year. There does not seem much point just for the sake of it. It is a credit to all for keeping them secret and not allowing them on any public websites. We have been able to use the system without having to go through the process of logging on each time. If any clubs need any reissuing again, please let me know and I will re-send.

New Rule for clubs with only 2 courts and no floodlights: Just in case anyone needs it. Reminder that start times are brought forward by 15 minutes in the first and last two fixture weeks. A courtesy contact to the opposition would not go amiss. Please get at least one pair to commence play at 6.15pm

Barrow Bridge, Meadow Hiil & Worsley. Any others??? (However, Astley & Tyldesley have flood lights but would still like an early start.)

David Lloyd Chorley: Do not go to this club. There will be no one there. Men's team plays at Leigh CC and Ladies and Juniors at David Lloyd Bolton.

Junior Matches Reminder: Just in case anyone needs it. Reminder from the first preseason newsletter. Junior League matches start tonight.

On behalf of the Chairman and the rest of the Committee have a pleasant healthy season of tennis.
